The fireworks are a simple form of particle animation, where each firework is made up of hundreds of particles. Each particle flies out from the centre of the firework and then falls down under the influence of gravity.
The centre firework display also includes panning spotlights.
Two displays show 3d animated mirror balls, with horizontal lines in the background moving in the opposite direction to the rotating balls, to emphasise the spinning.
Each of the displays are revealed behind a door. This is based on the South Australia brand - a connection with the Made in SA exhibition that is taking place as part of the West Building launch.
